Date Range Picker Component
Internship
UI Design
A part of a side project I had during my internship at Tenon. Features include preset controls, manual range selection, and a clear selection option. Super happy with how clean this final product is!
Skrew Magazine
Client Work
ReactJS
Web Development
Framer
Skrew Magazine is a Santa Barbara based arts and culture publication that focuses on queer, POC, and underground voices in the local Isla Vista community. Although well established in the UCSB area, Skrew Magazine wanted a way grow its customer base and audience outside of the greater Santa Barbara region. I designed, developed, and deployed a website for Skrew Magazine, resulting in a 50% increase in merchandise and magazine sales. It was insanely fun using React to develop this grungy, draggable, multi-reveal window effect for the hero of the site!
EcoSnap
Designathon
Mobile
Product Design
In Spring of 2024, I participated in the UCLA Designathon, researching, designing, prototyping, and presenting a mobile app in 6 hours. The competition prompted us to create an app that aims to improves the environment. My team's solution was EcoSnap, a mobile app that addresses waste at its source: by informing users of recyclability status, upcycling opportunities, and eco-friendly alternatives in-store—all through a snap of a picture. This project won 3rd place out of over 100 participants.
Miscellaneous Fine Art
Traditional
I've had an artistic flair ever since I was a little kid. I would doodle on walls, paint over my homework packets, and make sculptures from muddy clay I found on the ground. So, my parents enrolled me at an art class starting in elementary school all the way until high school. Although I don't have as much time now to make fine art as I did before, elements of my paintings and drawings are still reflected in my designs. Here are some of my favorites over the years!
